Prep time: 5 minutes
Marinating time: 30 minutes at room temperature
Grill time: 10 minutes
Rest time: 10 minutes
1 large flank steak
3 tbsp aleppo pepper
2 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried mint
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground allspice (or 1/4 tsp each ground cloves & ground cinnamon)
1. Combine all the rub ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Pat rub on both sides of steak and massage in. Allow to sit on the counter for 30 minutes or so.
3. Grill flank steak 5 minutes per side.
4. Remove to plate and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes, covered before slicing across the grain.
